About the College/Unit/Department:
The Department of Psychology has approximately 45 faculty members, 90 doctoral students, and 2100 undergraduate Psychology majors. Successful applicants will join a nationally prominent and productive faculty and department that is dedicated to supporting faculty teaching and research, and student learning.

Position SummaryThe Department of Psychology at the University of Georgia (
www.uga.edu/psychology
) is seeking to fill a Lecturer position beginning Fall 2026. This position is a nine‑month position that is renewable and promo table within the Lecturer track successful candidate will be expected to teach a variety of core undergraduate courses within our psychology major requirements.

Candidates with expertise in quantitative methods (e.g., undergraduate research methods and statistics) are strongly encouraged to apply.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe primary responsibilities of the Lecturer include teaching a variety of core undergraduate courses within the psychology major and participating in departmental service as required.
