- Work with high school seniors to provide information on college admissions, financing, ACT/SAT registration, and application completion (40% of time).
- Assist students with scholarship research and resources (20% of time).
- Complete all GCAC reports and projects; track student interactions via the College Advising Corps Student GRACE web‑based system (15% of time).
- Collaborate with the high school site liaison; official supervisor is the Program Director of GCAC (10% of time).
- Host college fairs and information sessions on college admission and financial aid (5% of time).
- Conduct outreach to juniors, sophomores, and freshmen to build interest in college, and participate in extracurricular activities when possible (5% of time).
Applicants must have earned a Bachelor’s degree by July 2025 and graduated high school between 2019 and 2022. A strong desire to serve and the ability to work well with diverse populations are required. Relevant skills include interpersonal collaboration, organization, communication (spoken, written, and multimedia), and problem‑solving.
