- Work with SREL Educators to develop pollinator programs and gardens at local schools.
- Attend outreach events to deliver pollinator programs and resources to schools, STEM functions, summer programs, and events such as Earth Day, Arbor Day, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
A position is available to work approximately 19 hours per week at the Savannah River Ecology Laboratory (SREL) in the area of native pollinator attraction, cultivation and conservation. The educator will develop hands-on pollinator gardens at local schools, serve as a point of contact and resource person for pollinator programs at schools, and teach the pollinator curriculum. There are interpretive and instructional opportunities (including tours) at the SREL Conference Center, local schools, and during special events and summer educational programs.
