The University’s main campus is located in Athens, approximately 65 miles northeast of Atlanta, with extended campuses in Atlanta, Griffin, Gwinnett, and Tifton.
Location of Vacancy:
Athens Area. Position requires evening (5:00 PM–9:00 PM) and weekend work, attendance to full-and-half day orientation and curricula trainings, periodic out-of-town trainings and outreach events, and some travel which may involve nights and weekend work. Travel expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with UGA policies.

Duties & Responsibilities Virtual Workshop Facilitation- Co‑facilitate live, synchronous ELEVATE workshops for groups of 20–30 married and unmarried couples, delivering curriculum content in an engaging and professional manner.
- Present curriculum content clearly, manage group discussions effectively, and use multimedia tools to enhance participation.
- Foster an inclusive, positive, and interactive online learning environment.
- Prepare for sessions by reviewing materials, coordinating with co‑facilitators, and ensuring all technology and resources are ready and accessible.
- Provide follow‑up support to participants between sessions to encourage engagement, clarify concepts, and ensure successful program completion.
- Monitor attendance, participation, and completion, maintaining accurate and timely records.
- Attend trainings, meetings, and debriefings to strengthen facilitation skills and ensure consistent delivery of the program model.
Percentage of time: 60%
Virtual Coaching and Participant Support- Serve as a coach for couples completing the asynchronous ELEVATE curriculum, maintaining regular communication to monitor progress and encourage engagement.
- Provide individualized guidance to help participants understand and apply key concepts.
- Respond promptly and professionally to participant inquiries, clarifying content and offering encouragement as needed.
- Track and document participant engagement and progress using project systems.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards in all interactions.
Percentage of time: 25%
Outreach, Recruitment, and Community Engagement- Support program staff in outreach efforts to promote ELEVATE workshops through community networks and partnerships.
- Participate in virtual and in‑person events to raise awareness of Elevate Couples Georgia (ECG) and recruit couples.
- Distribute promotional materials and share social media content to increase visibility and encourage participation.
- Connect with local organizations and partners to strengthen community engagement and referral pathways.
- Represent ECG in a positive, professional manner during all outreach and recruitment activities.
- Contribute to evaluation and reporting by documenting outreach efforts and participant engagement outcomes.
