Student Assistant - Position Summary: In this position, Peer Tutors will facilitate peer-level learning in a variety of settings. Peer Tutors will work with faculty, staff, and students across multiple departments at UGA.

Duties and Responsibilities- Tutor undergraduate UGA students in a variety of settings including one‑on‑one and in group settings.
- Enroll in complete UNIV 1204 (a one‑hour institutional credit course) within your first semester as a Peer Tutor. (10% of time)
- Attend tutor training at the beginning of each semester. (5% of time)
- Promote Peer Education services as requested. (5% of time)
- Allocate approximately 80% of time to tutoring duties.
Offers of employment are contingent upon completion of a background investigation including a criminal background check, confirmation of credentials and employment history, and, if applicable, a satisfactory credit check. You may also be subject to a pre‑employment drug test for positions with high‑risk responsibilities.
