Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent plus 12 years of professional experience to include 5 years of supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in a relevant field. 10+ years of progressive senior leadership experience in higher education and specifically health professions education. Record of leadership in an integrated healthcare delivery system. Service in a prior role leading or supporting the successful accreditation or endorsement of a simulation center (e.g., SSH Accreditation, INACSL Endorsement).

Position Summary:

The Senior Associate Dean for Administration and Operations serves as the senior administrative leader and principal strategic partner to the Founding Dean of the UGA School of Nursing. This role is responsible for designing, building, and overseeing the comprehensive administrative, operational, financial, human resources, and infrastructure systems required to successfully launch and sustain a new academic unit within the University of Georgia.

The position provides high-level leadership across business operations, facilities and space planning, staff workforce development, simulation and educational technology infrastructure, compliance, and organizational effectiveness.
