Position SummaryThe School of Computing at the University of Georgia invites applications for an Assistant Professor position starting August 2026. We are seeking candidates in all aspects of Cybersecurity, including both algorithmic, systems, and/or Artificial Intelligence (AI) based approaches.
Additional Requirements- Hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field with a strong record of high‑quality publications in cybersecurity venues.
- For Associate Professor applicants: demonstrate an established record of external research funding and a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.
- Associate Professor rank with tenure must have qualifications and academic credentials that are commensurate with the promotion and tenure guidelines at the University of Georgia and must be approved for tenure upon appointment before hire.
Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.
