Minimum QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in Agriculture or related area.
- A Bachelor’s degree is acceptable for a Public Service Provisional appointment. See Additional Requirements.
This position will provide educational programming in the County. This position will also provide management and oversight of the County 4-H Program in cooperation with other staff members. The County 4-H Program is robust and provides a wide variety of educational opportunities for youth. This position will work cooperatively with county 4-H staff and provide oversight, management, and support of the 4-H program.
As necessary, deliver 4-H programming in a variety of settings including in-school, after school, and through participation in state and district events. This position utilizes the expertise of and works closely with advisory groups, community leaders, public officials and representatives of intended audiences to analyze data, identifies needs, and assists in developing educational programs. This position requires frequent night meetings, some weekend work, and attendance at out-of-county meetings.
