Process Water Recovery Operators - Industrial or Municipal Experience
Join RWDC Industries as a Process Water Recovery Operator at our Athens plant. We are seeking qualified candidates with industrial or municipal water treatment experience.
Job DescriptionEmployment Type: Full-Time (probationary period of six months)
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring water system performance via HMI, managing tank levels, and pump operations.
- Adjusting system set points, troubleshooting alarms, and understanding trend charts.
- Maintaining and monitoring Carbon Filters (GAC), Reverse Osmosis (RO), and ozone generators.
- Performing testing, calibration, and routine disinfection of water lines.
- Operating and maintaining RO units, UV ozone destruct units, and performing preventive maintenance.
- Controlling flow and chemical feed rates, managing tank levels, and scheduling system maintenance tasks.
- Working with QC/QA to ensure water quality.
- High school diploma or GED; 2-year technical degree is a plus.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
- 1-3 years water or wastewater treatment experience.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance and repairs.
- State of Georgia Class 2 or 3 water/wastewater operator license is a plus.
Additional Requirements: Flexibility to work extended hours, including nights and weekends. Must pass pre-employment screening, background check, physical exam, skills testing, and hold US citizenship or Green Card.
