Position Summary:
Parking Event Staff are the front line personal for greeting, engaging, and interacting with all patrons entering and exiting the parking areas. The position will assist patrons with parking and transportation needs for special events within and around the University of Georgia-Athens Campus. Work with a team to create a safe environment for patrons to arrive/depart University events.
- Provide parking information and direction to customers
- Direct traffic into parking lot and to their assigned areas
- Hold traffic to allow for shuttles to enter/exit the parking area
- Keep traffic moving smoothly and drive lanes clear
- Keep lots clean & free of debris
- Provide high levels of customer service
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Positive attitude, desire to help others
Light to moderate lifting. Work in adverse weather conditions.
