- Assesses the nutritional status of geriatric, adult, adolescent and pediatric patients.
- Develops and revises an evidence‑based nutrition care plan to meet patients nutrition needs.
- Provides nutritional support to patients receiving enteral or parenteral nutrition.
- Educates patients and family members to ensure understanding of appropriate nutrition needs to support illness, promote recovery and improve function.
- Participates in multi‑disciplinary rounds, committees and support groups.
- Acts as preceptor to nutrition interns.
- Ensures patient satisfaction, quality care, regulatory agency compliance, and good public relations are achieved through the safe and efficient use of resources.

QualificationsMINIMUM
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED:
Entry Level – Minimum one (1) year work experience as a dietitian preferred.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Current Licensure in the State of GA as a Dietitian
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Registered Dietitian (Commission on Dietetic Registration).
