Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
- CAPM/PMP preferred. CAPM or PMP required within 6 months of employment date.
The individual in this position will provide project management support to EITS teams including project reports and documentation, meeting facilitation, and other project coordination tasks to assist the organization in managing and prioritizing numerous mission critical projects for UGA.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies- Demonstrated skill in project management frameworks, managing projects from initiation to completion, creating and maintaining project plans, and providing project management services to clients.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience working on technical projects related to applications, systems, and development life cycles.
- Excellent written, oral, and facilitation communication skills.
Normal office environment. No driving responsibility. Position is a position of trust. No direct interaction or care of children under 18 or direct patient care. Security access (e.g., IT security, personnel records) is required.

Duties/ResponsibilitiesApply formal project management principles and practices during the planning, implementation, monitoring, and completion of projects.
- Create detailed project plans that consider schedules, dependencies, institutional priorities, and resource limitations.
- Coordinate project team efforts to facilitate cooperation and prevent delays.
- Develop and maintain standard project management documentation, such as project charters, plans, timeline visuals, risk registers, issue logs, meeting agendas and summaries, and status reports.
- Oversee project execution, report potential delays, and coordinate problem resolution.
- Apply appropriate frameworks (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid, or SDLC) tailored to each project's scope and objectives.
- Lead the execution of projects involving technology, business processes, communications, or organizational initiatives.
- Translate project goals into actionable work plans, resource assignments, and measurable outcomes.
- Partner with functional and technical experts to define requirements, evaluate solutions, and implement changes.
- Monitor deliverable quality and alignment with objectives to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
- Update leadership, staff, clients, and the UGA community on project progress through regular meetings and presentations.
- Respond to inquiries from leadership and team members promptly.
- Coordinate communications between functional and technical teams using standard status reporting templates, scorecards, dashboards, and other visual tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address risks and issues and facilitate timely resolution.
