Scheduler & Warehouse Manager – Mativ

Mativ is a global leader in specialty materials headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia.

We are seeking a detail‑oriented production scheduler to coordinate the flow of work and materials between departments in our manufacturing plant. The scheduler will coordinate manufacturing assets and work cross‑functionally with operations teams to ensure business needs are met.

• Plan and prepare production schedules.
• Creates and maintains the master schedule to establish sequence and lead time for each operation.
• Ensures production finishes end products by ship dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
• Analyzes production specifications, plant capacity data, and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, raw materials, and staffing requirements.
• Recommend improvements to management based on the schedule and resource analytics.
• Confers with department managers to determine status of schedule and associated projects.
• Expedite operations that delay production schedules; alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
• Allocate raw materials (WID’s) for manufacturing utilizing the company ERP system.
• Prepare production reports to include on‑time delivery.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience with production scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong analytical, mathematical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four‑year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient with computers and the Microsoft suite; effectively present information and respond to questions from persons inside and outside the organization.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Ability to quickly learn various software programs that aid in work completion.
