Position SummaryThe Digital Experience Officer is a frontline fundraiser responsible for cultivating and stewarding a large portfolio of donors through personalized digital engagement. This role focuses on building lasting relationships and enhancing donor experiences to drive philanthropic support for the University of Georgia.
Key Responsibilities- Donor engagement – manage a portfolio of donors giving between $500 and $49,000 through one-on-one virtual meetings and tailored communication.
- Fundraising strategy – develop personalized approaches to increase donor retention, upgrade giving levels, and identify referrals for major gift prospects.
- Collaboration – partner with division colleagues to align donor interests with university priorities and create meaningful engagement opportunities.
- Impact communication – share compelling stories and updates that demonstrate the value and impact of philanthropy across UGA’s schools, colleges, and departments.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications- Experience related to fundraising, nonprofit management, higher education, sales, marketing, development, business administration, project management, or relationship management.
- Knowledge of the University of Georgia is desired.

- Emotionally intelligent with excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Comfortable working with database management software and maintaining sensitive information.
- Knowledgeable of Word, Excel, and email.
- Technologically savvy and able to communicate easily across a variety of digital platforms.
- Through open, honest, and respectful communication, all staff are expected to interact with fairness, compassion, and decency.
- Adherence to CASE standards and common industry standards for fundraising reporting.
- Travel domestically as needed.
- Work weekends, evenings, and other non-traditional schedules.
- Work in a standard office environment.
- Sit and work at a computer workstation for extended periods.
- Communicate effectively in writing, speaking, and listening.
- Organize and establish priorities; remember detail; multi-task.
- Lift up to 30 pounds of boxes, materials, and equipment.
