Registered Nurse RN Rehab

Overview

Registered Nurse – Inpatient Rehab Unit RN y’s Health Care System delivers patient-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team. This role focuses on treating the whole person physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and facilitates all aspects of the patient visit experience.

• Inpatient Rehab is comprised of private and semi-private rooms. Patients on this unit are here for up to 28 days and spend up to 4 hours each day with physical/occupational therapy.
• Under limited supervision, assess patients, develop, evaluate, and modify the care plan. Interpret and perform complex patient-care procedures specific to the RN’s expertise.
• Collaborate with the Care Team and Support Team to function as a unit to achieve patient outcomes identified in the pathway/plan of care.
• Take professional responsibility and accountability for the care given to a group of patients for a designated time frame.
• Provide care to patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/technology, and coordination with other healthcare team members, according to established standards.

• A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the Board of Nursing or substantially equivalent to Georgia programs.
• Successful completion of a refresher course within the past 6 months if nursing practice has not occurred within the past 5 years.
• Prior experience is preferred. New Graduates considered.
