The Oncology unit provides nursing care to patients utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The staff nurse coordinates patient care activities, maintains standards of practice, and delivers compassionate, high‑quality care from admission to discharge.

Work shift:

Night

• Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy and educate patients and support systems.
• Provide comfort and hospice care for oncology patients.
• Maintain patient safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team members.
• Adhere to policies and procedures of the organization.

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Current license in Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS certification required.
• New graduate of a nursing program eligible; one year of hospital experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Advanced oncology certification preferred.
