Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PCU position requiring telemetry and dysrhythmia management skills on night shift.

• Active GA or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Experience interpreting and managing dysrhythmias required

• Work in the PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown telemetry unit
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-07:00
• 3-month assignment length
• Provide telemetry-level nursing care in a progressive/stepdown care setting
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent, PRN, or internal staff must be away from all facilities within the health system for one full year before returning as a traveler
• Returning travelers who were previously cancelled or not approved to return must complete one successful assignment outside the health system before reapplying
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, and all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• No RTO or schedule requests can be made after offer or onsite, or during orientation week
• Holiday coverage expected for Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year's Eve/Day
• If 1-2 holidays fall during the assignment no holiday RTO can be requested, and if 3 holidays fall during the assignment one holiday RTO request may be considered
• Shift schedule as listed is firm with no alternate shift or schedule requests allowed
