The role of a golf course maintenance employee is to assist with the daily maintenance and preparation of the golf course in order to provide the best possible playing conditions to the patrons of the UGA Golf Course.

• Mowing greens
• Raking bunkers
• General blowing
• String trimming
• Changing cups and other maintenance tasks
• Weekend work, holiday work, and sometimes work in adverse weather conditions
• Work a minimum of 3 hours for a given day

• Previous golf course or comparable experience
• Ability to understand and follow specific oral and written instructions
• Willingness to perform manual labor for extended periods, often under adverse weather conditions
