Will be conducted; includes criminal and credit checks
Feed, water and care for research animals (chickens/turkeys). Clean cages, rooms, isolation units and equipment in assigned areas. Maintain assigned areas according to SOPs in an orderly and sanitary manner. Operate high pressure washer and disinfecting equipment. Routinely handle, restrain, relocate and transport animals within facilities. Maintain accurate records including animal inventory, feed inventory, house pens, identification tags, cleaning solutions and care schedules.
Grounds maintenance in summer and winter (policing area regularly). Perform related work as directed by supervisor.
