Quality Lab Technician

Diversified Sourcing Solutions is seeking a Quality Technician for a position in the Kingston area. This role presents opportunities for professional growth and advancement. Candidates with prior experience in dimensional and laboratory testing are encouraged to apply.

• Performing laboratory tests and analysis on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products
• Collecting and recording test results accurately, maintaining detailed records, and ensuring the validity of test results
• Preparing test samples, reagents, and solutions, as well as maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies
• Following SOP and good laboratory practices to ensure accuracy.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of all testing procedures and results
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives within the quality control department

• 1-2 years working experience in a manufacturing environment
• Associated degree or comparable on-the-job experience
• Familiarity with standard PPE protocols relevant to the role
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills
• Experience with precision measuring: tools like micrometers, calipers
• Calibrating

• Ability to stand and walk the production area during the workday
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout restrictions
• Reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting as required
