Leasing Agent

Athens Real Estate Group is looking for an experienced Leasing Agent to join our team! The Leasing Agent will play a key role in maintaining optimum levels of occupancy for the 800-plus homes we manage in the Athens area. Excellent organizational and communication skills are important qualifications for this position, as well as good customer relations and the ability to multi-task.

The ideal candidate is a high-energy, go-getter who takes responsibility and has a positive attitude.

• Responsible for touring and leasing all properties under management
• Process all applications and parental guarantors
• Provide outstanding customer service, including assessing and resolving customer problems and professionally handling telephone, email, and walk-in inquiries
• Coordinate and process lease renewals in order to increase resident retention
• Process all lease amendments according to company policy, including but not limited to: tenant swaps, pet exhibits, and early termination requests
• Update all advertising daily and set up marketing and outreach programs
• Post on social media regularly
• Participate in all turn-related activities

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; high school diploma required
• Property management experience preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills required
• Experience with data entry, record keeping, and computer operation preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred
• Superior customer service and communication skills required
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
