Role OverviewThe individual will provide specialized support for two funded research projects, including tracking participant incentives, creating R scripts for geocoding, and independently using R software to impute data files. This position is grant‑funded and expected to continue through 2029. Extension beyond this period is contingent upon continued funding.
Key Knowledge, Skills, Abilities- In-depth knowledge of R.
- Advanced statistical methodology and independent decision‑making on methodology.
- Independent imputation of data using PcAux in R; selecting appropriate imputation methods and evaluating their quality.
- Assessing data requests and creating data sets, including evaluating data integrity.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Perform data imputation using PcAux in R, selecting appropriate methods based on data structure and quality.
- Evaluate missing data patterns and determine best statistical strategies.
- Assess integrity of raw data sets and prepare for imputation.
- Validate quality of imputed data, making adjustments to improve accuracy and reliability.
- Respond to collaborator requests for imputed data files, ensuring they meet research standards.
- Maintain documentation of procedures and decisions.
- Monitor distribution and redemption of participant incentives across projects.
- Identify and resolve issues related to incentive delivery.
- Communicate with participants and project staff to ensure smooth processing.
- Maintain accurate records and troubleshoot discrepancies.
- Collaborate with coordinators to refine incentive tracking systems.
- Develop and maintain R scripts for geocoding participant addresses.
- Ensure scripts are optimized for accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide support to team members for project‑specific needs.
- Document script usage for future reference.
