Position SummaryThis individual will design and develop clearinghouses, data dashboards, conduct needs assessments and evaluations using qualitative or quantitative research methods. The person in this position will supervise and manage other researchers and students on the team, collaborate with supervisors, and work with various other entities across the State to collect input, design, implement, and manage projects. They will collaborate with a variety of clients, data sources, and datasets.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And/or Competencies- Strong background in designing and developing clearinghouses, data dashboards using data analytics and visualization.
- Background in criminal justice, behavioral health, opioids or related areas.
- Experience in working with databases, cleaning data, planning and executing data analysis and summarizing results.
- Experience building data visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik, and accessing a wide array of data sources.
- Proficient in Microsoft Power BI/Tableau development, including DAX functions, Power Query, Power Automate, and integration with other business systems to create impactful visualizations, reports, and dashboards.
- Skilled in SQL for creating custom tables, views, and scripts.
- Demonstrated training and/or experience in designing and conducting research, needs assessment, or program evaluation projects using qualitative and quantitative research methods, conducting literature reviews.
- Team-based experience in research or evaluation project design, completion goals, deliverables, and adhering to timelines.
- Strong data skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge or experience in using programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Qualtrics, SPSS, NVivo, Canva or similar applications.
- Excellent project management skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Work for long periods on a computer.
- Driving as needed to perform job duties.
