The position involves soil and water sample collection and analysis. The role requires working in laboratory, greenhouse, and field. General laboratory and greenhouse upkeep and maintenance is also part of the job.

• Soil and water analysis in the laboratory (65%)
• Soil and water collection in the greenhouse and field (25%)
• Laboratory and greenhouse upkeep and maintenance (10%)

• Some training in soil and water sciences; aseptic and molecular microbiological techniques, and soil enzyme assays.
• Knowledge about soil and water.
• Laboratory skills and experience in aseptic and molecular microbiology techniques are preferred.
• Applicants should be willing to work outdoors and have a driving license.
• Able to lift up to25 lbs; able to work in greenhouse and outdoors during the summer time.
