Position Summary: This Postdoctoral Associate (“Postdoc”) will work on developing novel structured-illumination microscopy systems for a variety of biomedical applications.

• Development of Structured Illumination Microscopy System (50% of time)
• Preparation of manuscripts and reports (20% of time)
• Mentoring and supervising graduate students (10% of time)
• Lab management (10% of time)

• PHD in Engineering or Physics
• A background in optics research
• Experience with imaging and optical microscopy (preferred)

• Strong optical design and analysis skills
• Strong programming skills in python and LabVIEW
• Communicate effectively

• Salary: $55,000 – $70,000 based on experience
