Candidate will conduct basic soil chemical, physical, and biological analyses and may lead an individual research project. Duties include laboratory work, data collection, curation, analysis, and occasional fieldwork.
Duties & Responsibilities- Laboratory work – 70%
- Data analysis – 20%
- Field work – 10%
• Open to undergraduate students at UGA and other USG schools. Preference for students enrolled in soils and water, community forestry and arboriculture, or forestry degrees.
• Preferred candidates have experience with laboratory work and safety, fieldwork and safety, data analysis, writing, and strong written and oral communication skills.
Physical DemandsSome standing, computer work, outdoor work with potential exposure to weather conditions.
