Position SummaryThis position is needed to assist in the cleaning and processing of seed samples for various crops.
Duties / Responsibilities- Clean seed of sorghum, millet and other crops using seeding cleaning equipment.
- Count, weigh, and package seed samples for long term cold storage.

Education & CertificationsHigh School Graduate
Key Skills & CompetenciesExperience preferred in seed cleaning using lab equipment including seed blowers and screens. Experience preferred in counting and weighing seed samples using a lab scale and packaging seed according to seed inventories.
Physical DemandsHeavy lifting (50 lbs) and working in hot environments (greenhouse and seed lab) and cold environments (cold rooms and freezers).
