This position is needed to assist in the cleaning and processing of seed samples for various crops.
Duties and Responsibilities- Clean seed of sorghum, millet and other crops using seeding cleaning equipment (75%).
- Count, weigh, and package seed samples for long‑term cold storage (25%).
Required: High School Graduate
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in seed cleaning using lab equipment, including seed blowers and screens.
- Experience in counting and weighing seed samples using a lab scale and packaging seed according to seed inventories.
Heavy lifting (50 lbs) and working in hot (greenhouse and seed lab) and cold (cold rooms and freezers) environments.
