Position Summary: The position involves soil and water sample collection and analysis. It involves working in laboratory, greenhouse and field. General laboratory and greenhouse upkeep and maintenance is also part of the job.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification In Position: Some training in soil and water sciences; aseptic and molecular microbiological techniques, and soil enzyme assays.

Responsibilities- Soil and water analysis in the laboratory. Time allocation: 65%.
- Soil and water collection in the greenhouse and field. Time allocation: 25%.
- Laboratory and greenhouse upkeep and maintenance. Time allocation: 10%.
- Some training in soil and water sciences; aseptic and molecular microbiological techniques, and soil enzyme assays.
- Knowledge of soil and water concepts; laboratory skills; ability to work outdoors; driving license is preferred.
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs; able to work in greenhouse and outdoors during the summer.
