Position Summary This position is based on the Burton 4-H Center on Tybee Island (). Work involves food preparation, serving, and cleaning the food service areas. Employees work under direct supervision while involved in preparation of food, serving and cleaning.

The incumbent follows written and/or oral procedures and practices and implements procedures, methods, and activities developed by others. Physical Demands

• High level of activity in a hot kitchen
• Prolonged standing
• Lifting up to 25-50 pounds.

Duties/Responsibilities Serve food at the dining hall; set up buffet lines and serve individual plates; interact with customers ranging from young children to senior citizens
35% Clean and sanitize the work area, operate a commercial dishwasher; clean chairs, tables, and service lines; sweep and mop floors; clean windows, baseboards, blinds; walkways and walls of food service building
