Position SummaryLocation:
Burton 4‑H Center on Tybee Island. Work involves food preparation, serving, and cleaning the food service areas under direct supervision.

- Serve food at the dining hall; set up buffet lines and serve individual plates; interact with customers ranging from young children to senior citizens. (35%)
- Clean and sanitize the work area, operate a commercial dishwasher; clean chairs, tables, and service lines; sweep and mop floors; clean windows, baseboards, blinds, walkways and walls of the food service building. (35%)
- Assist cooks in preparing and cooking food; assist with preparation of menu items. (20%)
- Other tasks as assigned. (10%)
- Follow written and/or oral procedures and practices and implement procedures, methods, and activities developed by others.
- High level of activity in a hot kitchen
- Prolonged standing
- Lifting up to 25-50 pounds
- Driving as needed to perform job duties
