- Serve food at the dining hall; set up buffet lines and serve individual plates; interact with customers from young children to senior citizens.
- Clean and sanitize the work area, operate a commercial dishwasher; clean chairs, tables, and service lines; sweep and mop floors; clean windows, baseboards, blinds; walkways and walls of food service building.
- Assist cooks in preparing and cooking food; assist with preparation of menu items.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Some experience in kitchen work.
- Skilled in reading, writing, and simple math; ability to follow written and oral directions.
- Physical demands:
Lifting food items up to 25 pounds, prolonged standing for food preparation, driving required. - Direct interaction or care of children under the age of 18 or direct patient care is required.

Work involves preparing and serving food and cleaning food service areas. Employees work under direct supervision, follow written and/or oral procedures and practices. Employee will implement these procedures, methods, and activities developed by others.
