The Bistro Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional guest service in The Bistro, Courtyard by Marriott's signature dining outlet. This position involves taking and preparing guest orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring a high standard of hospitality consistent with Marriott brand standards.

• Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Prepare and serve Starbucks coffee and Bistro menu items.
• Handle payment transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the Bistro, dining area, and service stations.
• Restock supplies and assist with food preparation as needed.
• Deliver prompt, friendly, and efficient service that enhances the guest experience.
• Comply with all health, safety, and brand standards.

• General education and/or comparable work experience.
• Ability to read and write clearly in English; basic math (add, subtract, multiply, and divide), handle cash, and complete reports.
• Ability to work with different kinds of people to find out what services they want and to give them information.

This is an indoor job. There are temperature changes between the kitchen and dining room that may vary greatly according to the time of year.

To perform the duties, the individual must be able to walk and/or stand for varying lengths of time and for long periods with repeated bending, stooping, and reaching. An individual must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must also be able to see, speak, hear, and communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing. Manual dexterity is necessary for handling money, keyboards, trays, plates, or paperwork.
