Event Sales & Operations Coordinator

Catering HQ is looking for a dynamic and passionate professional with proven experience in end to end event coordination to join our talented and dedicated team working at our venue Club Parramatta.

Catering HQ is a family run company that was established in 1996. We currently have 15 fabulous venues across Sydney and Melbourne. This allows our menus and décor to be fresh, interesting and inviting to our guests. We are known for delivering high quality meals and exceptional customer service.

Your primary responsibility is end to end event sales and operations. You will be tasked with handling client enquiries, walkthrough of our event spaces, contract negotiations through to the execution of high quality, smooth running events which exceed client expectations. Success in this role is measured by developing and maintaining these client relationships, ensuring repeat business and long lasting engagement. Strong sales and operational ability is required as it is a dual role.

• Build and maintain customer database to leverage repeatable sales opportunities
• Acquiring and following up on leads including preparing and presenting event proposals
• Lead end to end event coordination from sales to set up and delivery of an amazing event
• Updating venue event packages as required
• Generating new business opportunities
• Attending appropriate industry/networking events

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role which includes event sales
• Experience with IVVY Sales and Catering (or similar events program)
• Proven ability and passionate approach to drive sales
