Position OverviewThis research technician role in Dr. Arthi Kanthasamy’s lab involves working on NIH-funded projects related to neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson’s. Responsibilities include experimental design, assays, data collection, and project management, with experience in mouse models preferred.
Qualifications- Technical knowledge in the field (apprenticeship, 2-year degree, or certificate)
- Effective communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work under stress and maintain confidentiality
- Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel)
- Lift up to 30 pounds
- Work with small equipment and protective gear
- Manual dexterity and long periods of arm extension
