Winder, GA | $24,396.00 – $30,036.00 annually
Responsibilities- Responsible for a variety of routine safety and emergency security activities while safeguarding students, employees, visitors, patients and property.
- First responder to all emergency incidents within the assigned facility.
- Night Shift duties.

Education Required:
High School Diploma or GED - Minimum Experience
Required:
Two years of experience in general security, military or other public safety experience preferred - Minimum Licensure/Certification Required by Law: Valid Driver’s license & adherence to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500
- Additional Qualifications:
- Certified Healthcare Security Officer (IAHSS) required within one year of hire.
- Georgia Peace Officer Standards & Training (P.O.S.T.) certification preferred.
- Carry non-lethal weapons such as a Taser CEW and/or a baton required.
- Must pass pre-employment psychological screening.
- Must pass and maintain all training requirements to maintain employment, including certifications in Taser, ASP Baton, Mental Health First Aid, and others as directed.
