** How This Role Works:*

** Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

** Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare-related location.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.

+ Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted or controlled areas in accordance with site procedures.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related calls, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions taken.

+ Communicate with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed, and complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess at least one year of security-related experience.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
