Location: Rock Eagle 4-H Center

• Observe the safety and wellbeing of swimmers (90% of time)
• Observe weather conditions and react to rapid changes (5% of time)
• Clear the pool of guest/lost items and secure the gate when closing
• Supervise pool activity, including obtaining pool keys, keeping storage closets organized, and cleaning pool deck or trash before use
• Manage pool opening and closing per group reservations (8am‑10pm) and coordinate schedule with supervisor

• Certified lifeguard and first‑aid training through American Red Cross (training will be provided if not obtained)
• Physical ability to complete required swim tasks: 350‑yard continuous swim with 2 minutes of treading water, 200‑yard continuous swim, retrieve a ten‑pound life‑guard brick from 7‑foot depth, retrieve 3 rings from 4‑7 foot depth in one breath
• Minimum age 16 years
