Prepare samples for analysis.

Collecting and maintaining insect colonies (ants).

Wash lab ware and keep lab tidy.

Minimum Qualifications Position Summary
The unit seeks a conscientious, thorough, and careful student assistant to assist lab personnel with sample preparation and laboratory maintenance.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
- Lab experience in biology or similar.
- Basic computer skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability & willingness to learn from direction and experience.
Sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting/carrying
up to 30 lbs.
