• Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, fuel buses, log trip counts, and assist disabled passengers.
• Be at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
• Carry and display a valid state‑issued driver’s license while on duty.
• Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
• Courteously assist customers and direct them to the Facility Manager if needed.
• Report accidents, violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, water, oil spills, etc., to the garage office.
• Substitute for cashiers or valets when authorized.
• Have thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area.
• Assist customers with luggage and other traveling items if operating shuttle buses at an airport.
• Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.

Education/

Experience:

Less than high school education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

License Requirement: Maintain a valid state driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable DMV record.

Availability: Ability to work required shifts, including 3rd shift and/or weekends if applicable.

Language

Skills:

Read, comprehend and write simple correspondence and present information to customers and employees.

Mathematical

Skills:

Perform basic arithmetic with units of American money.

Appearance: Maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.

Physical Demands: Stand, walk, use hands to handle cash and equipment; sit, climb, balance occasionally; lift or move up to 75 pounds as required.
