Overview
Bus Operator (Temporary) at The University of Georgia.
Duties/Responsibilities- Safe operation of buses on campus routes and occasional charters. 80% of time.
- Wash buses and perform other non-driving related duties as needed from time to time. 10% of time.
- Complete paperwork associated with assignments. 5% of time.
- Attend safety meetings as occasionally scheduled. 5% of time.

Safe operation of buses on campus routes and occasional charters. Complete paperwork associated with assignments. Follow written and verbal instructions as given by supervisory personnel. Occasional bus washing and other non-driving tasks are needed from time to time. Will submit to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with the US Department of Transportation.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to demonstrate a safe driving record, good communications skills, and the ability to work with people of various backgrounds and skill levels.
Physical DemandsSitting for long periods, pushing, pulling, and reaching. Driving.
Security and CompliancePosition does not involve direct interaction with children. Driving is a requirement of this position. Background investigation and pre-employment checks are required as described by the University of Georgia.
