LPN - Oncology Clinic, Athens, Ohio

This is a full-time 32/hour position. Office hours are 7am-5pm and the LPN will be scheduled according to the needs of the clinic. The position is located at O'Bleness Hospital, in Athens, Ohio. Newly licensed LPNs will be considered if they have a strong experience in a Medical Assistant environment. Must be flexible, positive and a strong team player. This position provides nursing care to patients and families along the health illness continuum in diverse health care settings while collaborating with the health care team.

The LPN is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The LPN delegates nursing tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. This position serves as a resource for other associates. May communicate instructions, do minor scheduling, and inspect work. Does not hire, fire, discipline, promote, demote, transfer, or appraise, but may be consulted by higher management in these areas.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Scheduled Weekly

Hours:

32 hours/week. Monday through Friday. Shifts are dependent on the needs of the clinic.

Work Shift:

Day. Department Medical Oncology Clinic.
