118-bed acute care facility, provides emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services with a service area of 130k. Located between Knoxville (58 mi N) and Chattanooga (58 mi S), Athens, TN is the county seat of McMinn County. The Friendly City, as it is fondly known, is nestled in the beautiful Tennessee Valley, surrounded by streams, outdoor wildlife, and picturesque views of the mountains.
