Ultrasound Technician

About the Role

Join our team as an Ultrasound Technician at Lifepoint Health’s Starr Regional Medical Center. You will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging support across a broad spectrum of examinations, contributing to exceptional patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.

• Perform quality ultrasound studies including abdominal, obstetric/vascular, neonatal, pelvic, breast, and small parts exams for interpretation by the radiologist.
• Maintain and organize appropriate files, supplies, and equipment.
• Report findings to the Ultrasound Supervisor and/or Radiology Director.

• Graduate of a diagnostic medical sonography program or a school of radiology, and hold an accredited DMS program credential or ARRT/DMS certification.
• One year of diagnostic medical sonography experience is preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
