RN-Wound Care - PRN position available.

Job Summary: A Registered Nurse responsible for:

• Performing follow-up nursing assessment of patient's condition and reports findings to Clinical Manager/RN.
• Records wound assessment data accurately and communicates pertinent information.
• Assess compliance to the Clinical Pathway and communicate to Physician and Clinical Manager/RN.
• Identifies patient care situations that require intervention; implements and evaluates actions with Clinical Manager/RN.
• Identifies patient/family education and discharge needs and implements a teaching plan of care with Clinical Manager/RN.
• Collaborates with the Physician and clinical Manager/RN to develop a Multidisciplinary Plan of Care. Revise the plan of care and continuously reassess and evaluate until desired outcome is obtained.
• Formulates with Clinical Manager/RN the desired outcomes that are specific and measurable within a certain time frame and consistent with expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Registered Nursing Program with current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee.
• BLS required.
• Wound care experience preferred.
• Ability and skill to provide care/treatment from adolescent, adult and geriatric
• Must possess and demonstrate good public relation skills.
