Description
RN Charge - Labor & Delivery ; FTday position available.
Responsibilities- Provides for the individual rights of patients.
- Directs / provides for appropriate assessment / re-assessment of patients.
- Plans and provides appropriate nursing care based on the individual patient's assessed needs.
- Provides healthcare education to patients and / or families.
- Provides continuity of care by enlisting services of other healthcare team members.
- Manages patient care to ensure safety and minimize risk to the patient, family and the organization.
- Manages time and supplies effectively.
- Communicates and documents pertinent information to all appropriate individuals in the continuum of care.
- Demonstrates knowledge of an adherence to National Patient Safety Goals and Core Measures.
- RN Licensure in the State of Tennessee
- 5 years experience in Women s/Children s services preferred
