• Provides for the individual rights of patients.
• Directs / provides for appropriate assessment / re-assessment of patients.
• Plans and provides appropriate nursing care based on the individual patient's assessed needs.
• Provides healthcare education to patients and/or families.
• Provides continuity of care by enlisting the services of other healthcare team members.
• Manages patient care to ensure safety and minimize risk to the patient, family, and the organization.
• Manages time and supplies effectively.
• Communicates and documents pertinent information to all appropriate individuals in the continuum of care.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and adherence to National Patient Safety Goals and Core Measures.

• RN licensure in the State of Tennessee required.
• BLS required.
• Women's, Pediatric, and Nursery experience preferred.
