Essential Functions and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Be responsible for executing comprehensive nursing care activities and providing nursing staff leadership.
• He/she is responsible for assessing patient needs, planning and implementing patient care activities, and evaluating the patient's response to treatment.
• He/she manages activities within the therapeutic environment and directs the delivery of nursing care by other members of the nursing treatment team, provides concise documentation, participates with PI teams as request, adheres to all federal, state, and Hospital compliance regulations, and other duties as assigned.

Graduate of school of nursing with current TN RN license and current BLS certification required. 1-3 year geriatric psychiatric or long-term care nursing experience preferred. Must possess ability and skill to provide the required care/treatment of adult and geriatric patients. Must possess and demonstrate good public relation skills.
