The RN Charge
- Registered Nurse - PRN - Women's/Post Surgical Department will work on a per diem basis, as needed, with 12-hour shifts.

As an RN Charge
- Registered Nurse - PRN - Women's/Post Surgical Department, you will:

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
• Establish a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient according to his or her capabilities and desires.
• Supervise and mentor nursing and support staff during assigned shift.
• Assist in determining staffing levels and assignments based on staff availability, staff abilities, census, patient acuity and work/patient flow.
• Provide direct patient care as needed.
• Float between staff to assist with problem-solving.
• Take patient assignments to meet staffing needs.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.
• Respond to complaints about patient care and related services, and manage through established channels.
• Perform role-specific duties as assigned, including entering orders, performing admissions or discharges, and coordinating transfers.
• Ensure staff has necessary equipment and supplies to provide safe, quality patient care.

What We're Looking For:

Applicants should have a current State of TN or compact state RN license. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification is required at the time of hire.
