• Menu Development:
  Collaborate with the Head Chef to create menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. Consider special dietary requirements, including low-sodium, diabetic, and texture-modified diets.
• Sanitation and Safety:
  Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations, including HACCP principles. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring all equipment is in perfect working condition.
• Teamwork:
  We are a family and we work together as one cohesive team. Collaboration and communication among staff members are essential to creating a harmonious and supportive work environment.

• Certifications and
  
  Education:
  
  Having a high school diploma or something equivalent is required. If you've been to culinary school or have relevant certification, even better! And don't forget your Serv Safe or equivalent food safety certifications.
• Culinary Expertise:
  Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a Senior Living facility, healthcare setting, or a similar environment. Strong culinary skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Adaptability:
  Flexibility to adapt to changing menus, resident preferences, and special dietary needs.
• Team Player:
  We have a close-knit crew here, so being a team player is key! You’ll be working with other kitchen staff and servers, so good communication and cooperation are essential.
